What matters in your life? I have been reading a book called 4000 Weeks: Time Management for Mortals which posits that an awareness of our relatively limited time in this dimension fosters a better focus on what really matters. Of course we don't all have 4000 weeks--that is a privilege--but remembering we are time-limited has a way of pushing aside the chaff. As a divisive national election looms, as the winter holidays approach, it is a good time to refocus and contemplate what of everything swirling around really does matter.
At Tapatree we focus on authenticity and place. We focus on being present and examining what that means in all its beautiful iterations--from the forest, from the fields, from the flowers, from our community. Tapatree offerings are made with love, and let your taste buds explore. If you have been visiting our online store you'll see it is bustling with new treats! We currently have three delicious honeys courtesy of our resident bees, several fruit shrub drinking syrups for your mixology pursuits, and Paul's famous pickled asparagus and scapes for your charcuterie and snacking enjoyment. We also have our legendary Whole Maple Syrup (limited, so hurry if you are hoping to gift Tapatree Whole Maple for the holidays)! All of our ingredients are the highest quality for your table--no mass-produced, anonymous products here.
We know you appreciate this care. A lovely client sent a note this week: Thank you for the new additions to the shopping. It still stuns me what amazing products you have and how few people I meet know about you. Thank you for what you do!!! We love to hear that you're enjoying Tapatree, and we sincerely appreciate when you spread the word.
We will continue to stock the shelves with new delicacies in the coming weeks! Stay tuned for three new shrubs--Solstice (a delicious spiced shrub with bits of cinnamon, cardamon, orange and lemon), Saffron Ximénez (a Spanish-inspired sherry shrub, fig and caramel notes!), and Peach (needs no explanation!). Also watch for the peerless whole grains of our friends at Grist & Toll--this year with yummy recipes--and the fancy specialty coffee of Cognoscenti!
In the meantime, we hope you vote! This great American experiment is reliant on our full participation and support. And we also hope you cherish this moment in time, in part by filling it with what is authentic and true. Thank you for being part of our farm family!

Some time ago one of them presented me with a gift of a small selection of your precious liquids explaining "you have to try these"!! While I was not completely surprised because they had previously proven to have "next level" taste I immediately fell in lust with the quality and flavors and started ordering foe myself and then for gifts to others and now we have a following. While I love the edibles my new favorite part of "who you guys are" has become the subtle writings and I just wan…
