Something not-too-sweet (but amazing!)

The year is off to a chaotic start and you may not know which end is UP, but you vaguely realize that health may be one of the keys to survival. As the community starts to realize that ultra processed foods come with risks, we hope you start to look to artisanal producers like us for unrefined options! If you've been following along, last year saw the launch of our delicious line of zero alcohol shrubs--all using our own Whole Maple™ syrups as the sweet element, which serves to lift and showcase the natural flavors of the fruit base. Now for the exciting new part: we've captured the fruit from each shrub and touched them with some magic to create a series of amazing fruit pastes!

Not as loose as jelly or jam, fruit pastes are reminiscent of Spanish membrillo--perfect to pair with a walnut or pecan half to give you an after-meal treat or delicious snack! Who says dessert needs to be a death wish?  Our flavor-packed gems pair incredibly well with charcuterie or even on a buttery cracker to satisfy your (not too) sweet tooth.

Each of our new fruit pastes comes in a presentation-worthy glass jar in a size that will be welcome in your fridge and on your serving platter. What varieties, you ask? Introducing Sour Cherry & Shiso, Red Currant & Juniper, Solstice, Peach Champagne, Strawberry Balsamic, Mélange à Trois, and Saffron Ximénez. Each variety is distinct from the others and will be certain to delight your family and friends with the flavorful layer they add to all pairings--whether is is manchego cheese, a bit of smoked meat, or a flavorful nut.

All fruits in our shrubs and fruit paste are sourced either here at the farm or from New York small fruit producers. The pleasure we derive from these collaborations cannot be underestimated--we love it, and we hope you do as well! In a time of dramatic change, we find that we are turning to you, our farm fam, for the true north. We are focussed on the forest, the bees, and Nature herself as we try to shine a light on people and the interconnections between all good things--the tapestry that sustains us.

Stay kind and true! In a time where deep fakes and hostility may seem to be taking root, reach for what is authentic and real, particularly when it is as delicious as a bit of fruit on a healthy nut.

Til next time, all--we are cheering for you and all good things!
